William Hederman

William (Bill) Hederman serves as the Executive Vice President for external affairs at QCoefficient, focusing on market development for high technology solutions in commercial and industrial buildings. Holding a distinguished position as a recipient of the IEEE Board of Directors Distinguished Ethical Practices Award, Hederman has also contributed to the energy and utility cybersecurity sector as a member of the Board of Advisers for AgilePQ. Previous roles include Senior Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s energy policy center, Senior Advisor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy, and Managing Director at Deloitte & Touche, where significant growth in energy regulatory compliance was achieved. With experience as a Senior VP in energy policy research and as an advisor to both start-ups and U.S. Congress, Hederman brings extensive expertise in energy technology innovation and regulatory strategy. Educational qualifications include an MS in electrical and systems engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MPP in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
