Willy Susilo

Willy Susilo is a distinguished academic and researcher at the University of Wollongong, holding multiple titles including Australian Laureate Fellow, Distinguished Professor, and Head of the School of Computing and Information Technology. Since January 2002, Willy has managed programs such as the Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of IT (Computing) in Singapore and led the Centre for Computer and Information Security Research. Willy is also an IEEE Fellow and has served as Director of the Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology since January 2017. Additionally, Willy was the Editor in Chief for Elsevier's Computer Standards and Interfaces from January 2020 to December 2023 and was involved in research at Smart Services CRC from 2003 to 2010. Willy's academic credentials include a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong and a BSc in Computer Science from Universitas Surabaya.
