Zhou Lan

Zhou Lan is a seasoned professional in wireless communications and system design, currently serving as a Principal System Design Engineer at Broadcom since January 2016. With extensive experience in the field, Zhou holds the position of Vice Chair and Secretary of the IEEE 802.11af Task Group, focused on developing PHY and MAC technologies for Wi-Fi in TV white spaces. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at MediaTek, Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies, and Senior Researcher at NICT, contributing significantly to research in short-range wireless communications and mmWave technologies. Zhou's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Ultra High Speed Networks from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, along with a Bachelor's degree in Wireless Communications from the same institution.
