Robert Stacey

802.11 Chair at IEEE802

Robert Stacey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in wireless systems engineering and standards development. Currently serving as the 802.11 Chair and Vice Chair at IEEE802 since November 2014, Robert has also held roles such as Technical Editor for P802.11ax. At Intel Corporation, Robert has progressed from Wireless Systems Engineer to Senior Principal Engineer since April 2014, contributing significantly to wireless standards development including 802.11 and 3GPP LTE RAN 2. Previous positions include Technical Editor for 802.11ac at IEEE802 and systems engineering roles at ADC Kentrox. Robert holds an MSc and BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
