Marlon Walker

Marlon Walker has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as Manager of Information Solutions at IEM since February 2008, with a focus on application and server administration for custom software applications for the Department of Defense. Previous roles include Supervisor of Information Systems and Network Administrator at Southern University, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining networks across various platforms and implementing security strategies. Earlier in the career, Marlon held positions at Circuit City as a Sales Counselor and at IBM as an Intern. Marlon obtained educational qualifications from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge and completed early education at Scotlandville Magnet High School and St. Francis Xavier. Technical proficiencies include Red Hat Linux, Oracle Java, Apache, PostgreSQL, OpenSSL, and GeoServer.
