Rick Thacker

Rick Thacker is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, operations, and technical roles. Currently serving as a Project Manager at IES Communications since July 2022, Rick oversees project controls, budgets, billing, scheduling, and risk management. Previously, Rick worked at Paladin Technologies as a Technician, specializing in security systems, and served as a Sales Engineer at Xpedient Communications, where responsibilities included project estimation and customer scope definition. Rick's extensive leadership experience also includes a tenure as Senior Director, Director of Operations, and General Manager at Foodja, Grubhub, and Restaurants on the Run, focusing on operational management, market expansion, and employee relations. Rick began a career at Costco Wholesale, supervising operations across various departments. Educational credentials include an AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Palomar College and attendance at UC Irvine.
