Aaron Parecki is an accomplished professional in the fields of identity standards and technology development, currently serving as Co-Chair of the IPSIE Working Group and Board Member at the OpenID Foundation since April 2024. Aaron holds the position of Director of Identity Standards and previously worked as a Senior Security Architect and Senior Developer Advocate at Okta since March 2018. With extensive experience at IETF as Co-chair of the SCIM Working Group and as an editor of various OAuth specifications, Aaron has also contributed to the W3C Social Web Working Group as an Invited Expert. In addition to roles at Portland Seed Fund and KmikeyM, Aaron co-founded PK1 Designs and Geoloqi, Inc., where significant advancements in APIs and location technologies were made. Educational qualifications include a BS & BA in Computer and Information Science and Digital Arts from the University of Oregon, complemented by a Part 107 Remote Pilot certification from Pilot Institute.
