James Galvin

James Galvin is an experienced professional in the fields of Internet governance and technical standards, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for ICANN since October 2021. With a career spanning several decades, James has held key roles at various organizations, including Director of Strategic Relationships at Identity Digital Inc. and involvement in the ICANN Security and Stability Advisory Committee, where James also served as Vice Chair and Executive Director. Additionally, James has contributed as co-Chair of the IETF REGEXT Working Group and has a rich history in technical and strategic roles at Donuts, Afilias, and other companies. James holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Moravian University.
