Mark Nottingham

Mark Nottingham is a prominent figure in the field of Internet standards and technical protocols, currently serving as the Standards Lead at Cloudflare since June 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating standards efforts and advising on HTTP and related protocols. Nottingham is also a member of the Internet Architecture Board, focusing on technical standards and policymaking. Notably, as Chair of the IETF's AI Preferences and HTTP Working Groups, Nottingham has played a critical role in developing industry standards, including HTTP/2 and QUIC, the basis for HTTP/3.
