Qin Wu

Qin Wu is a highly experienced professional currently serving at Huawei since January 2006, where roles include IETF SCONE WG Chair and Network Management Architect. As IETF SCONE WG Chair, Qin Wu focuses on establishing mechanisms for network elements to communicate achievable bitrate limits. Additionally, as an IETF IAB Member, Qin Wu oversees architecture for long-term research and short-term protocol engineering, while coordinating collaborations with various standard bodies. In the ITU-T, Qin Wu serves as Rapporteur for SG12 Q16, working on frameworks for diagnostic functions and enhancing network visibility through Big Data Intelligent Network Analytics. Qin Wu also chairs the L2SM WG and co-chairs the L3SM WG, ensuring fair progress and task execution within these groups. Academic credentials include a PhD in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology (2003-2005).
