Zhen Cao is a seasoned network stack expert with extensive experience in designing high-performance protocol stacks and real-time network infrastructures, currently positioned at Huawei since January 2016. Zhen also serves as the cochair of the LWIG Working Group at IETF and has contributed as a postdoctoral researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover, focusing on SDN, NFV, and data science in the future internet. Previous roles include a senior engineer at China Mobile, where Zhen worked on IPv6 sensor nodes and intelligent network control projects, and a research intern at Intel, developing mobile systems for seamless vertical handover. Zhen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Peking University and has additional qualifications from UCLA and Wuhan University in computer science and economics.
