John Rislov has a diverse work experience spanning from 1992 to 2020. John started their career as a Buyer at Elder-Beerman Department Stores from 1992 to 1995. John then joined Kohl's Department Stores, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Logistics Operations and Director of Merchandising, Business Operations, and Planning and Allocation. At Kohl's, they were responsible for industrial engineering, vendor services, website operations, and planning and allocation. John also worked as a Buyer, driving positive comp sales and developing strategic partnerships with core brands.
In 2013, John joined Gazillion!, an internet start-up, as the COO. John was responsible for website operations, merchandising, planning and allocation, logistics, supplier acquisition, and product development. John developed a 3-year business and merchandising strategy, created a staffing model, and established an organizational structure to support growth.
From 2013 to 2018, John worked at Steinhafels as the Director/General Merchandise Manager. John reported directly to the President/CEO and was responsible for enterprise merchandising, planning and allocation, and supply chain strategy. John developed and implemented merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
Finally, John joined IEWC in 2018 and currently holds the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. Prior to this role, they served as the VP of Supply Chain.
John Rislov attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History.
