Anthony Perez

Anthony Perez has extensive experience in various industries and roles. Anthony started their career in 2001 as a Senior Accountant at Expeditors International. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Audit Associate and Senior Internal Audit Consultant at McGladrey & Pullen. Anthony then joined BDO Seidman as a Senior Audit Associate in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, Anthony worked at FINRA as an Associate Principal Investigator - Enforcement, where they conducted investigations and provided support in disciplinary proceedings. In 2010, they joined Grant Thornton as a Manager - Professional Standards Group, overseeing conflict checks and other processes. Also in 2010, Anthony started working at ACA Group as a Director, specializing in consulting and advising Broker-Dealers on regulatory and compliance requirements. Alongside their role at ACA Group, Anthony became an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland in 2010. Most recently, in 2022, they joined IEX as a Compliance Director.

Anthony Perez completed their education with a BBA in Accounting and Management from Florida International University from 1996 to 2000. Anthony then pursued a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami, which they obtained from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they attended The George Washington University Law School from 2005 to 2009 to earn their JD in Law.
