Eric Schmid

Eric Schmid has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Eric started their career at Sungard Assent as a Trade Support employee in 2009. In 2010, Eric worked as a Market Data Control Analyst at ISE for a few months before joining Chi-X Global as a Strategy and Product Analyst. Eric joined IEX in 2013, where they held various roles including Market Operations, Market and Sales Specialist, Business Development for Trading & Exchange Services, and Head of IEX Astral. Most recently, Eric has taken on the position of Head of Market Operations at IEX Digital Assets Exchange in July 2022.

Eric Schmid obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009. Additionally, they hold certifications in Series 7, 63, 55, and 24, which were obtained in 2013.
