Created in 2007 under the joint support of the Institut de la Francophonie pour l'Entrepreneuriat (Mauritius), the University of Bordeaux (France) and the Incubateur Régional d'Aquitaine (France).

I&F Entrepreneuriat is the first chain of support for entrepreneurs in the DR of Congo with a pedagogy adapted to the context of developing countries.

I&F Entrepreneuriat has 14 years of experience (2007-2022) in business incubation. It is the first business incubator in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The report of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO, 2016) confirms this in its page 30 and its annexes 8-11. This report even asks the Congolese government to draw inspiration from the support practice of this incubator rather than importing models that may not work in the Congolese context, due to lack of adaptation.

I&F Entrepreneuriat has at least 1456 companies, 803 of which were created by young people under 35 years of age (39% of whom are girls). 80% of these companies are in the agro-industry, 5% in high technology, 5% in the production of construction materials and carpentry, and 10% in information and communication technologies. These companies have more than 1800 innovative products. The population of women entrepreneurs supported represents 41% of the people supported.
