Mohammad Hoque

Mohammad Hoque has a strong background in supply chain management and operations. Mohammad is currently working as the Category Head of Supply Chain at iFarmer, where they oversee the supply chain management for wet market and institution businesses. Their responsibilities include trade finance, procurement, contract farming, and managing relationships with suppliers and farmers. Mohammad leads a team of 200 field staff and is responsible for the management of 12,000 farmers and 200 suppliers.

Prior to their current role, Mohammad worked as a Director of Process Improvement at Chaldal, a leading grocery e-commerce platform in Bangladesh. In this role, they focused on perishable, procurement, and supply chain management. Mohammad achieved significant growth in the perishable category and led a team of 200 staff.

Before joining Chaldal, Mohammad served as the Head of Operation and Finance at ACI Logistics Limited from 2018 to 2020, where they were responsible for overseeing operations and finance. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Area Sales Manager at ACI Logistics from 2015 to 2018.

Earlier in their career, Mohammad gained experience as a Retail Store Manager at Tesco from 2010 to 2015.
