David Vandersnickt

Program Director, Market Adjacencies at IFCO

David Vandersnickt has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David began their career as a Student Commercial Engineering at the University of Antwerp from October 2004 to November 2009. In 2008, they participated in a Business Masterclass and worked as a CFA TS Trainee at Deloitte. David also participated in the Deloitte Indirect Tax Fly In Lisboa in the same year.

In 2009, David joined CHEP as a Financial Analyst for their Benelux region, responsible for variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis. David went on to hold various finance roles at CHEP, including Finance Manager for EKA and Multi-national accounts, Senior Finance Analyst for European Key Accounts, and Finance Manager for Russia. David also served as the Finance Manager for Poland and Baltics on an interim basis.

From 2017 to 2019, David worked as a Senior Finance Business Partner for EMEA at CHEP, where they provided strategic and operational decision-making guidance to the leadership team and drove the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.

In 2019, they took on the role of Commercial Finance Director for Europe at CHEP before joining IFCO SYSTEMS in 2021. At IFCO SYSTEMS, David worked as a Commercial Finance & Strategic Pricing Consultant before being promoted to Country Managing Director in March 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Program Director, Market Adjacencies at IFCO SYSTEMS.

David Vandersnickt attended the IE Business School in 2012 for a Talent Development Program (CHEP). From 2004 to 2009, they studied Commercial Engineering at the University of Antwerp. In 2007 and 2008, they also spent some time at the University of Mannheim studying Betriebswirtschaft. Prior to their higher education, David attended Sint-Jozefscollege from 1993 to 2007, where they completed their A-Levels Equivalent in Languages, focusing on Greek and Latin. It is unclear when they attended Muziekschool Turnhout and if they obtained a degree there.
