Jeff Mitchell is an accomplished food safety professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. As Director of Global Food Safety at IFCO SYSTEMS since March 2017, Jeff oversees the global food safety strategy and ensures compliance across all regions, while representing the organization in regulatory and industry collaborations. Previously, Jeff served as Vice President of Food Safety and Service Operations at Chemstar, where responsibilities included directing food safety processes and training. Earlier roles at Chemstar and the US Army involved comprehensive food safety management, inspections, and program development, demonstrating a robust skill set in food safety and quality assurance. Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology from The University of Georgia.
