Almaz Meseret (PhD) is a highly motivated researcher with over 10 years of experience in agronomy and crop science. They currently lead the Component II initiative of the TRANSFORM Soil Fertility project at the International Fertilizer Development Center in Ethiopia, where they have been since 2025. Almaz has also served as a Visiting Scholar at ILVO in 2023 and coordinated the Agronomy and Crop Physiology Research Program at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research from 2019 to 2025. In addition, they hold an Open Door Fellow position at UGent for the 2023-2024 period. Almaz is pursuing a degree at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
