Ya Li

Ya Li has extensive experience in leadership and technology, currently serving as President of Phoenix New Media Ltd. since May 2006. Prior to this role, Ya Li was a Visiting Research Fellow at Peking University from January 2010 to June 2015, focusing on new media marketing communications. Ya Li founded and led Global Villager Inc. as CEO from April 1995 to September 2001 and worked as an Internet Consultant at Morgan Stanley from March 1997 to March 1999. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Engineer at Verizon from April 1993 to April 1995. Educational backgrounds include a Certificate from The Wharton School's Management Program, a Master's degree in Computer Science from Temple University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. Additionally, Ya Li studied Film, Philosophy, and Music History at New York University.
