Kate Humphrey is currently the Director of Real Estate Solutions - Michigan at IFF, where they focus on advancing real estate initiatives. Previously, they worked as a Public-Private Partnership Specialist and later as the Director of Development in the Housing and Revitalization Department in Detroit from 2016 to 2019. Kate gained experience in economic development as an intern with the City of Dallas in 2011 and also served as a Graduate Student Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan the same year. Earlier in their career, they were a Land Use Planner at Cooley LLP from 2012 to 2016 and participated as a Graduate Fellow at the National Association of Development Organizations in 2012. Kate holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning with a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and French from Colby College.
