Sakura Takano

Sakura Takano is the Chief Executive Officer at Rotary Charities of Traverse City, where they lead teams and manage business lines in the nonprofit sector. Previously, they have held roles such as Director of Community Assets and Impact Investing and Director of Housing at Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan, overseeing various programs aimed at supporting those experiencing homelessness. Sakura's experience includes serving as an Investment Officer at Microlumbia Fund and working at JPMorgan Chase in investment banking. They hold an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and graduated magna cum laude in Finance and Economics from Boston College. Currently, Sakura is a board member for Munson Healthcare and Venture North Funding & Development, and chair of the board for IFF (CDFI).
