Michael Degnan

Michael Degnan serves as the Director of Video Production at iFixit since August 2009, overseeing all aspects of video production, including team management, writing, filming, editing, motion graphics design, and the publishing of instructional and promotional content. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Editor/Production Assistant at Station 22 from 2006 to 2009, focusing on video editing, DVD authoring, and motion graphics creation. Earlier experience includes working as a Lab Technician at CNET from 2005 to 2006, where responsibilities involved setting up and testing various consumer electronic products for online reviews. Michael holds a BA in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from San Francisco State University and a Technical Writing Certificate from Oregon State University.
