Markus Groll

Markus Groll has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Markus started in 1995 as the Vorstand / CEO and Co-Founder of isar1 AG - planning+design+management. In 2013, they became involved with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), taking on various positions such as President Elect of IFMA's FM Consultants Council, 1st Vice President at the Board of Directors, IFMA FMCC Chair of FMCC STAG Team, and Member of the Board of Directors as Secretary. In 2014, they became the Operations Director at Cadac Group EMEA BV. Markus Groll also has experience as the General Manager, Architect, and CAD Trainer at Markus Groll Architects, CEO and Managing Partner at FMCG Facilities Management Consultancy in Dubai, and CAFM & Operation Manager, as well as a Senior Facility Manager at Pasha Construction LLC. Markus has also been involved in research projects sponsored by the German Government and served as an Associate Professor at the University of Applied Science Rosenheim and IHK München / Chamber of commerce and industry.

Markus Groll completed a Diploma in Architecture (Dipl.Ing. FH Architekt) from Technische Hochschule Augsburg from 1985 to 1988. Prior to that, they obtained a Pre Diploma in Architecture from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg from 1983 to 1985. Markus also received a Pre Diploma in Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) from Technische Hochschule Augsburg from 1981 to 1983. In addition, Markus obtained a certification as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from IFMA in April 2000.
