Geary is the Principal of Geary Consulting, LLC (2024–Present), bringing three-plus decades of experience and a people-centric approach to leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development. Geary serves as President & CEO of IFMA (2025–Present), guiding the world’s largest international association for facility management professionals. Geary previously led SMPS as Chief Executive Officer (2015–2024) and held executive roles with the National Association of Home Builders and AmericanHort, among other organizations. Geary holds a BA in Communications Processes and Disorders from the University of Florida and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
