Dr. Jan Beermann

Dr. Jan Beermann is a Managing Consultant for Communication and Participation at ifok GmbH, where they have been engaged since 2020. Previously, they served as a Consultant for Communication and Participation in infrastructure projects at the same company. Dr. Beermann has also worked as a Scientific Employee at the Research Center for Environmental Policy at Freie Universität Berlin from 2015 to 2018 and as a Conflict Advisor at the Competence Center for Nature Conservation and Energy Transition from 2018 to 2020. They obtained a Dr. phil. from Freie Universität Berlin in 2016 and completed a year-long mediation training at ImKonsens in 2018, and are currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Management at Freie Universität Berlin.
