Giuseppe Leuzzi is currently a Principal Investigator at IFOM, a position held since April 2025. Prior to this role, Giuseppe served as an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York from January 2022 to April 2025, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University Medical Center from January 2017 to December 2021. Giuseppe's experience also includes a Telethon Research Fellowship at Istituto Superiore di Sanità in late 2012, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship. Giuseppe completed a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with honors at Università di Roma Tor Vergata from 2006 to 2012 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Viterbo "La Tuscia" between 2013 and 2016.
