Bruno Gianesi

Bruno Gianesi is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Bruno currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at iFood, beginning in January 2025. Prior to this role, Bruno was a Data Scientist Engineer at Mercado Livre, where responsibilities included developing fraud prevention models for online payments. Bruno's tenure at iFood also includes roles as a Data Scientist 2A, focused on creating a conversational chatbot for customer service, and as a Data Scientist 1A, where Bruno contributed to a food recommendation chatbot and developed scalable data pipelines. Earlier experience includes a data and analytics internship at iFood and a summer internship at Infinity Energias, where Bruno developed a model for predicting water inflows. Bruno holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Control and Automation Engineering from EESC-USP and possesses proficiency in English.
