Eric Berman

Eric Berman is an accomplished professional in public affairs with extensive experience in the music and political sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Public Affairs at Universal Music Group since November 2015, Eric oversees global public policy and government relations for the leading music-based entertainment company. Additionally, Eric holds key positions as a member of the IFPI Main Board and as a board member of the Recording Industry Association of America. Prior to this, Eric was the Managing Director at Kekst and Company for nearly two decades and has held various roles within political organizations, including Director of Research at the Democratic National Committee and Associate Director of Research at The White House. Eric began a career in public service as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman John Bryant and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University.
