Kunal Samanta

Kunal Samanta is a seasoned professional in access strategy and health economics, currently serving as Group Director of Access Strategy at Roche since January 2012, leading a team focused on global access and policy strategies in respiratory, infectious diseases, and neuroscience. Kunal has also held various leadership roles within Roche, including Group Leader and Access Strategy Leader, contributing significantly to the hiring and development of access teams and engaging with industry associations for policy shaping. In addition to current responsibilities as Chairperson of the IFPMA Antimicrobial Resistance Committee, Kunal's previous experience includes roles at The Matrix Knowledge Group and PriceSpective, along with a strong academic background in health policy and economics from prestigious institutions like The London School of Economics and UCL.
