Roger Connor

Roger Connor is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Optum Insight since September 2023 and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Operations & Services at UnitedHealth Group since January 2023. Connor has held significant leadership roles, including Chair of the CEO Vaccines Committee at IFPMA since July 2020 and President of Vaccines and Global Health at GSK from 1998 to December 2022. Throughout the tenure at GSK, Connor also co-chaired the Global Ethnicity Council and led Global Procurement and Worldwide Real Estate and Facilities. Additional positions at GSK included President of Global Vaccines, President of Global Manufacturing & Supply, and various roles related to corporate strategy and manufacturing. Earlier career experience includes working as Corporate Accountant at AstraZeneca. Connor's educational background features a degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, a Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW, and completion of the Manufacturing Leaders Programme at the University of Cambridge.
