Andre Besson

Andre Besson has over 29 years of experience in finance and control within the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Head of Group Financial Reporting Guidelines at Nestlé. In this role, they are responsible for defining and interpreting Group accounting policies and applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to complex transactions. As a member of the IFRS Interpretations Committee, Andre contributes to the consistent application of IFRS globally. Their previous positions include roles as Business Controller, Regional Management Accountant, and Director of Finance across various Nestlé subsidiaries. Andre obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the West Indies and has engaged in additional leadership training.
