Arshad Cassim

Arshad Cassim is currently serving as Process Lead for AI Governance and Product Planning at IFS since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing the process framework for AI governance and enhancing product planning through stakeholder coordination. Simultaneously, Arshad is a Visiting Lecturer at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture and a Lecturer in International Relations at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies. Previous roles include Lead Analyst at GTN, IT Business Partner at Virtusa, Political and Economic Research Officer at the Embassy in Colombo, and Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka. Arshad holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Business Administration and Management from the University of Peradeniya and a Master's in National Security Policy Studies from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.
