Ujitha Perera is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and program management. Currently serving as a Program Manager at IFS since July 2017, Ujitha has also held roles as a Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to IFS, Ujitha contributed as a Google Summer of Code Mentor at Public Laboratory for Open Technology & Science in 2017, assisting students with an Email Notification Overhaul project, and as a Google Summer of Code student in 2016, developing an advanced searching and sorting tool. Ujitha began career as a Trainee Software Engineer at Vesess from June 2015 to May 2017, specializing in Ruby on Rails and utilizing pair programming methodologies. Ujitha earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa and completed earlier education at Royal College Colombo.
