Thomas Hougaard

Thomas Hougaard is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy, infrastructure, and maritime sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Bright Inc since August 2023, Thomas holds multiple leadership roles at IFU, including Senior Vice President and Head of Green Energy & Infrastructure, and previously as Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to this, Thomas was a Partner at Maersk Growth, focusing on new business ventures, and spent over a decade at APM Terminals, where responsibilities encompassed Head of Port Infrastructure Investments in Asia and Director of Infrastructure Investments in Africa. Thomas's career also includes leadership positions at Maersk Line/Safmarine and Safmarine Pty. Ltd, alongside an academic background with an MBA from Hult International Business School and executive education from INSEAD.
