Alan Spinks

Alan Spinks is a highly experienced Technical Architect at IG Group since May 2022, previously serving as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley from 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included leading the technical team for Exotic Structured Products and Trading applications. With a strong background in Java development, Alan has held significant roles at Nomura, focusing on fixed income applications and equity derivatives market-making systems, along with early career experience at Lehman Brothers and Pfizer. Alan earned a 1st Class (Hons) degree in Computer Science and Management Science from the University of Kent in 2007.
