Helen Pownall

Helen Pownall is an accomplished leader in engineering and technology operations with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Head of Engineering Enablement at IG Group since September 2024, Helen previously held significant roles at Sportradar, including SVP for Engineering Operations and Delivery, and Global Managing Director for the same area. Additional experience includes positions such as Head of Core Engineering at Bottomline Technologies, Project Manager at Worldpay, and Programme Manager at Haymarket Media Group. Earlier career highlights feature Programme Delivery Manager at NSPCC and Senior Manager at Accenture Technology Consulting. Helen holds a PhD in Astronomy from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Physics from the University of Exeter.
