James Gordon is currently the Group Head of Tax at IG, where they guide a tax team focused on various tax advisory areas for the worldwide IG Group. Previously, James served as a Senior Tax Manager at IG and spent over a decade at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President in Tax. They also have experience as a tax associate at Ernst & Young and wjb chiltern/bdo. Before transitioning to tax, James pursued trading futures and developed skills in that arena. They earned a 2.1 BENG Hons degree in Marine Technology, Engineering, and Naval Architecture from Newcastle University.
