Lynn van Coller

Lynn van Coller is the Head of Risk Strategy at IG Group since July 2021, responsible for identifying and quantifying market, credit, and operational risks, as well as managing the ICARA process under MIFIDPRU. Previous roles at IG Group include Head of Regulatory Capital and Head of Risk Advisory, focusing on global capital management and advising on risk matters across projects. Prior to IG Group, various contract roles were held post-2015 while raising a child, including work with FirstRand. Lynn also served at Momentum Asset Management in several key positions from 2007 to 2014, and held roles at Alexander Forbes Investments and Investec, specializing in quantitative research and financial product consultancy. Lynn's early career includes positions at NBS Bank/NBS Boland/BOE as a Quantitative Analyst and Trader. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Applied Mathematics from The University of British Columbia and an MSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
