Sam Truscott

Sam Truscott is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software development and engineering. Currently serving as the Interim Head of Broker Technology at IG Group since March 2014, Sam has progressed through various technical roles including Technical Team Lead, Technical Specialist, Senior Developer, and Developer in the Direct Market Access (DMA) division. Prior to IG Group, Sam worked as a Software Engineer at Truphone and held positions at General Dynamics UK Limited, where contributions included roles as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. The career began with a placement as a Software Engineer at IBM United Kingdom Ltd during a university course. Sam holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Brighton, completed in 2006.
