Khalid Thabit

Khalid Thabit is a Strategic Communication Consultant with over 20 years of professional experience in media and communication journalism. Khalid has held significant roles, including Public Information Officer at the Intergovernmental Authority on Development and Head of Communications at the Sudanese Council on Foreign Affairs. Currently serving as the Public Information and Media Partnership Manager at IGAD, Khalid has also worked with various local and international media outlets, specializing in public relations, media campaigns, and digital content creation. Additionally, Khalid is a member of the IGAD secretariat and has contributed to the African Union's standby force capacity initiatives.
