Tvrtka IGEA osnovana je 1990. godine kao informatička tvrtka s jasnom strategijom razvoja temeljenom na uspješnom projektiranju i izvođenju složenih prostornih informacijskih sustava s naglaskom na katastar  i zemljišno-knjižne sustave. Svoju tržišnu reputaciju IGEA stječe neprekidnim usvajanjem poslovnih i informatičkih znanja te njihovom transferu u sustav državne uprave te stoga IGEA danas pruža značajnu informatičku podršku tijelima i institucijama državne uprave u svim fazama životnog ciklusa informacijskih sustava od razvoja do njihove implementacije i dugoročne podrške. Tvrtka ima više od 40 mladih i obrazovanih stručnjaka.
