Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in International Relations from the University of Cambridge in 2000 and 2001. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication, which they earned from the University of Denver between 1996 and 2000. In 1999, they briefly studied Communication at Ulster University.
