Devanshu Patel

Devanshu Patel has a diverse work experience in legal, security, and compliance roles. Their most recent position is as the VP Legal, Compliance & Information Security - North America at IGEL Technology, where they manage all legal and cybersecurity issues. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Legal, Security and Compliance at Agari, where they negotiated agreements and provided strategic and legal support. Devanshu also worked at Salesforce as the Director of Program Management - Security, overseeing security, privacy, and compliance requirements. Additionally, they held the role of Senior Director of Operations at Area 1 Security, managing legal and security issues and implementing a privacy/security-first approach. Throughout their career, they have also worked in technology consulting, management consulting, and as an associate producer in the film industry.

Devanshu Patel holds a J.D. degree in Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Prior to that, they completed their A.B. degree in Political Science, Economics, and Biology at the University of Chicago. Devanshu also holds additional certifications including a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School and an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor (TPECS) from BSI.
