Mitchell Casey is a Laboratory Technician at Snow Canyon Therapeutics, focusing on small molecule therapeutics for chronic inflammatory diseases. Concurrently, Mitchell serves as an Outreach Officer for BioHive Utah, managing outreach initiatives and training members in networking skills. As a Research Assistant at BYU Cell and Physiology: Hansen Lab, involvement includes work on Bacterial Hosts and Phages, with prior experience as the Lead Research Assistant in the BYU MMBio: Grose Lab, studying bacteriophages and their impact on bacterial evolution. Additional research experience includes identifying salt-tolerant bacteria in the BYU MMBio: Nielsen Lab and managing farm research operations in the BYU Plant and Wildlife Sciences department. Mitchell is pursuing a degree in Genetics, Genomics, and Biotech with a focus on Strategy at Brigham Young University.
