Matea Jurca

Matea Jurca is an active high school student at Denmark High School, pursuing a diploma with a focus on computer science. Currently serving as Co-President and Founder of the Denmark High School Chapter of Habitat for Humanity International, Matea also holds the position of Regional Outreach Director at Mercuri and serves as an Advisory Council Member for Common App. In addition, Matea works as a barista at Ellianos Coffee, honing customer service skills and fostering communication. As President and Co-Founder of the USABO chapter at Denmark High School, Matea manages biology-focused educational initiatives and community outreach. Additional roles include Clinical Research Intern and Project Intern at Think Neuro, Inc., Underclassmen Vice President and Wet Lab Chair for iGEM, and AP Ambassador at Denmark High School, aiming to enhance participation in AP programs. Co-Founding ScolioSmiles further showcases entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to impactful community projects.
