Simon Redford has a wealth of experience in the energy and technology industry. Simon is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at iGEN Technologies Inc., where they oversee the development of the iGEN i3 Eco micro-CHP unit. Prior to this, Simon founded their own company, Redford-Tech Limited, in 2007, where they provided consultancy services for energy efficiency and renewable technologies. Simon also served as the Director and Innovator at FHT Stoves, a trading name of Redford-Tech Limited, focusing on the commercialization of wood burning and multi-fuel stoves.
Simon's previous experience includes working as the Director of Energetix MicroPower at Energetix Group, where they were involved in the development of sustainable energy products. Simon was also a Group Manager at EA Technology, where they played a key role in the transition of the company from a laboratory to a provider of services and products for electricity suppliers. Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated expertise in areas such as heat-pump technologies, voltage control, Organic Rankine Cycle products, industrial CHP opportunities, and innovative heating and cooling technologies.
Simon Redford earned a BSc in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Systems & Control at UMIST from 1983 to 1984.
