Doron M Behar, MD, PhD, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Igentify, which addresses the complexities in genomic medicine by providing a streamlined genomic workflow for clinicians, laboratories, and patients since October 2016. Additionally, Doron serves as an Associate Professor of Population Genetics at the Institute of Genomics, Estonian Biocentre, and has held a position as Senior Visiting Research Scientist at the Estonian Biocentre and Department of Evolutionary Biology, University of Tartu, since 2014. Previous roles include Founder, Chief Scientific Officer, and Chief Medical Officer at Gene by Gene, with earlier positions at Family Tree DNA and DNATraits. Doron’s clinical experience includes roles as Senior Physician at Carmel Medical Center and the Medical Genetics Institute at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Doron holds a PhD in Population Genetics, an MD, and a BSc in Medical Sciences from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
