Matthew Ng has been working in the professional world since 2000. Matthew'sfirst role was as a Product Manager at THE PLC GROUP, where they managed inventories, established safety stock levels, created warranty policies and end-user documentation, and produced training plans and presentations. In 2009, they were promoted to Sr. Product Manager, where they were responsible for 3 profit centers and 4 departments with 15 full-time staff, as well as acting as a regional distributor/agent for represented vendors from US, Italy, Spain, Israel, and SE Asia. Matthew also acquired high-end international brands for Lighting Division sales in retail showrooms, and acted as a brand owner responsible for market positions of over 20 product lines. In 2013, they were promoted to Director of Product Management, where they were responsible for Product-to-Market Strategies, Brand Marketing, Distribution Channel Management, Product Sourcing & Development, and overall Category Profitability, and reported directly to the COO in all facets of business unit performance for the Locks & Security Division. In 2016, they joined igloohome as Chief Product Officer, and has since been promoted to VP of Product/Head of Americas and Head of Business Development, Americas, where they are responsible for developing strategic partnerships in the IoT, hospitality & smart home security segments, advocating alliances with industry principals in home-sharing and short-rental economies, and defining go-to market strategies for North America channels.

Matthew Ng graduated from UC San Diego in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Science and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Urban Planning. In 2013, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Manchester in 2015. In October 2022, they obtained the AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
