Sid Butalia

Sid Butalia has a wealth of experience in product design and engineering, with a career spanning from 2006 to the present. In 2006, they began as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern at Emerson Network Power. In 2007, they became a Freelance Mechanical Design Engineer. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Senior Industrial Designer at Tata Elxsi, and then a Senior Industrial Designer at Xentiq Pte Ltd from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Co-Founder and Advisor at MaNa Home Pte Ltd, and in 2019 they were appointed Engineering & Design Director at TransferFi. Currently, they are the Head of Product, Hardware & Design at igloocompany, leading an interdisciplinary team of designers and product managers responsible for the entire user experience.

Sid Butalia attended The Doon School from 1998 to 2001 and obtained an ICSE. From 2001 to 2002, they attended Hong Kong International School. Sid then attended Singapore American School from 2002 to 2003. Sid then returned to Carnegie Mellon University from 2003 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Sid then returned to Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2008 and obtained a Master's Degree in Master of Integrated Innovation for Products & Services (Formerly Integrated Product Development).
